Publication of external system balancing actions

According to the regulatory framework, external system balancing actions must be taken according to a defined merit order list, which focuses on external system balancing via the exchange in one’s own market area. For further information, please refer to the Cooperation Agreement and the presentation on the procurement model.   

In addition to the exchange-based external system balancing transactions on the EEX trading platform at the Trading Hub Europe trading point, Trading Hub Europe also procures the balancing gas quantities required on the exchange via the EEX and ICE Endex trading platforms at the Dutch Title Transfer Facility and bilaterally via the BSP.
